Wondering why Amazon doesn’t give prime subscription to its employees as benefits. It only costs $119 per subscription yearly.

Agree or disagree, that's the actual reason why employees don't get it for free.
You'll note the employee discount on .com is worth exactly equal to the cost of prime, so Amazon COULD have given free prime for the same price, but decided to give something else instead.
It is a very expensive perk. For google, 140k employees * $12 per month = $20 million per year for free YT premium.
Amazon has more employees so the cost will be millions more per year. Amazon is also very frugal it is against their philosophy to do it.
Plus, this us not an expense because Amazon would not pay the cost but just stop earning it, which does not necessarily mean making less as I’m pretty sure that people who are not subscribed will tend to buy more at Amazon when having free shipping.
In any case I don’t think cost matters here and it’s probably a different reason
