Call to eliminate social injustice and systemic bias in tech firm hiring

Current hiring processy of major tech firms discriminates against those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, such as those who cannot afford coding bootcamps, leetcode premium subscriptions, and Microsoft Visual Studio or AWS accounts, as well as those with learning disabilities. Those who have unique perspectives and experiences, such as the impact of technology on racial diversity and climate change, are not given the opportunities to succeed. As a result, current tech firms hiring policies overwhelmingly favor Asians and Whites, two highly privileged races, and unjustly hurts African Americans and other minorities. I propose immediate replacement of the current hiring process with a holistic approach that takes into account a candidate's family background, socioeconomic ladder, level of economic, racial and religious adversity, and his and her creative dimensions. No leetcode or system design questions should ever be present in an interview. All tech firms must transition to such hiring policies by 2021, or they will face discrimination lawsuits from Department of Labor. And who to better enforce this policy than Richard Carranza, the current Chancellor of NYC board of education appointed by Mayor DeBlasio to eliminate social injustice and systemic bias in NYC schools admissions.

Huh? Eliminate social injustice by having your family be considered a factor in hiring? Is somebody actually thinking like that?

You’re right. The government hasn’t screwed up enough things. Let’s bring them into the hiring process even further.

Leetcode and system design can be learned online for free. Not saying you’re wrong, but I’d like some clarity around how minorities have a disadvantage

Leetcode is a measure of how well people memorize worthless shit just to get a job. More people stumble on actual problems, and how they solve them has actual bearing.

Eliminating bias is everything that happens before the applicant interviews. We should focus on diversity recruiting and better funded schools.
