    We already were told it's up to the org and the org said it's up to the team. The team I'm on decided to try and come in once a week - but if you decide not to, no big deal

      It's the only way Amazon can (somewhat) compete. We already pay less than other FAANGs so if they have a leg up on us there also, we're going to have a mass exodus. Probably will anyway because of the pay part.

    Nope. It's up to the individual orgs now, this is precisely why you're not hearing any more corp-wide announcements.

    The last corp-wide date that has been announced is Jan 3, 2022. That's already just 30 days away.

    I've already been told after Jassy's comments that since my job can be completed remote, I don't have to return to the office. Should be based on organization/team needs at this point.

      No, my job has technically has never been a face to face job and we just worked out of an office because one was nearby and they're paying rent on the building. Everything I do, doesn't require face to face team or customer interaction. Not to say I don't interact with either or, it's just not face to face.

      I was in the office recently for half a day, they're not against it either. It's just not required. As of yet at least...
