I switched companies a month ago and I have been feeling all miserable and lost ever since. The team I work with does not seem to have any time to help me ramp up and has been working together for a while now and does not really seem to be bothered to engage with new joiners. It's becoming a struggle to work every day. It's sapping my self confidence and motivation to start working every day and I thought It'll get better as I work, but on the contrary its beginning to take a toll on my mental health as I'm feeling all miserable and anxious all the time. Should I just hang on or do I think about moving on to a different company and start interviewing again?

Hows your relationship with your new manager! I felt the same way when I joined Deloitte. You can try two things which I thought at that moment: 1) However much interaction I had with teammates, I had an intuition to whom I can reach out to and bug the shit out of them but also be respectful of their space. Like I noticed a guy who was very much reachable. I was bugging him a lot of with questions and opened up to him honestly that I am not understanding a bit of whats going on in the meetings. Whenever I used to go to him, I used to start with phrases: Iโm really sorry to disturb you again, or end with Thank you so much buddy. Positive words always helps. I used to ask him to explain me like a 5 year old kid then came back to my desk and completed my due diligence to understand that work. If you can find two teammates reachable, divide your questions. 2) See if your manager is reachable. Tell him/her that you are having difficulties ramping up and ask him/her to assign a buddy kinda system. I didnโt take this approach thinking that might work against me and the manager might think Iโm a weak resource who requires spoon feeding. He/she might think this or might not. So judge yourself and take a call. No matter which step you take, you have to open up to someone. If you are taking step, make effort to build a relationship with that person. Donโt just reach out when you need help. Keep asking if there is anything if you can do for them. Thank them, check if everything else is good out of work. Try to bond. If nothing works, suck it up and go find a different company with a better culture. They donโt deserve you. I hope this helps, and good luck. You got it๐๐ป
