-WLB is somewhat team dependent, but overall fairly good (50 hours a week at most, never death marches)
- Leveling is still being formalized, no strict timelines to e5 unlike fb

- no megabackdoor, guideline, standard lifecycle funds (vanguard, etc), no company match
- stipend to fix up office (forgot the amount), pre-covid could also reimburse wework if you were on a fully remote team
- sweet company-wide annual Mexico trip, generally high engineering bar, super nice and in contrast to a lot of other fintechs, not bro-y

E5 - I don’t think we do up or out
E4 - 250k tc?
Refresher/bonus - promotions, or a 4 on your review. Retention every two years
401k - no match
Perks - 500 stipend, team budget towards whatever you decide, 100/month health stipend (therapy, gym equipment, shoes)
Greatest company I’ve ever worked for
- E5 promo is aligned with FB roughly I think. Growth guide/level map still has some kinks to be worked out
- Bands I don’t know, but I think we are competitive with Robinhood and others although probably a bit lower (we run lean)
- refresher for top performers, maybe 20-25%, once a year (note: new comp philosophy not published yet so that may change)
- no bonus
More of an impact place than a min-max comp place. A lot of folks here for work, mission, culture. General feeling is that we have a big opportunity to capture but it’s not guaranteed.
Definitely want to work here *because* of the impact available, but 15 minutes can make you 15% or more 🦎😅
