In big companies, like FAANG Microsoft, is it possible to take 30+ days PTO in a year? if so is it difficult/ damage your review?
I’ve seen it at Microsoft. Doesn’t seem to affect rewards as long as you are doing very well driving impact otherwise.
I know transgender person who took 12 weeks last year at netflix (I honestly don’t know if minority status gives more privileges or not, that’s why i mention this) And no one would dare to pay this person less because minority!
I thought PTO is standard with levels Regarding transgender, why do you know salary of this person and their comp package? You seem to be overly concerned and in their business. Methinks your prejudice is showing.
I know because I have access to it. The reason why I mentioned the status of this person is because I can not think of any other reason or indicator that allows to abuse the system at Netflix like that. And no you are incorrect about levels and prejudice
Lots of companies have LOA...
It impacted my rewards / my manager is a tool
I get above target bonus/stocks and managed to take 25+ days PTO.
Is there a yearly limit for number of PTO days based on level?
Based on Microsoft tenure. It start with 15 PTO days and increases by a week after every 6 years.
