Hi guys, I am an Indian working in Data science and Analytics field. I have worked across Singapore and Dubai. I wanted to know if any of FAANG or other tech companies like Airbnb,Quora etc. hire expats directly to the US office. I have seen few of my acquaintances join the India/Singapore office, work there for 1.5-2 years and then move to US. I myself have received offers from Google and FB for their APAC and EMEA offices but never US. Has anyone seen their friends/ acquaintances been hired and sponsored Visa directly for the US office?
Wtf you doing in Careem then? I don't like it's shady political and business Islamic background.
Can you please elaborate more?
Do you know you will never get a green card?
Yes :) looks like the case as of now unless things change drastically
Why he can’t get a green card ? Join Asian office and then move to US with L1 visa.
Somewhat useless comment. But also for my notifications. If I haven’t filed for a GC yet, can I be called an expat? Why does it sound better? 😐
Please stay away from US. People see only high TCs but not shady visa denial practices and decades of wait time for permanent residency. Too much stress build up over time.
Tbh I think they're pretty much only here for the high TC. It's why I'm doing this miserable job. - US citizen
Very tough in this climate. I think you’re better off putting your energy and focus where you’re at than trying to come to US.
@careen I am also data analytics professional based out of india with 7,yoe looking for international roles. Can you tell me which companies in APAC,emea and Singapore hire directly from india?? This will be really helpful for me

Yes they do it all the time.
I have generally seen them hire only the folks who have a valid US Visa.
