FAANG to Startup (Upleveling?)

Started doing some light interviewing with mid stage startups. Think Series C - Series D.

I'm currently 5 YoE E5 at FB. Been here for almost 3 years and been back to back EE <-> GE.

When I'm talking about leveling with these kinds of startups, should I be aiming for the staff positions and just respectfully decline senior positions?

It seems really pointless to go from senior to senior in my opinion since I'd be taking a huge paycut given FB RSU's these days.
