Not true. If you include your healthcare deductions, the tax rate in Canada is at most 1-2% higher than US.

You still pay health insurance in Canada. And the tax rate in Canada is even more than California, not to say Washington State. Iβm from Ontario and I remember there is a surtax on Provincial tax (yes a tax on tax) and there is a health care tax on top of those crazy tax rates.

Hahahahhahaha bay area Is waaaaayyyyyy over paid. And has a huge cost of living. Canada IMO is a better place to live I think. But for sure pays less. But cost of living is less. Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal are decent cities.
Having lived in some of those cities and now being in the bay area, I would not say Calgary or Montreal is on the level of liveability or activities as SF
how can somewhere where your face hurts if you go outside 7 months out of the year be "a better place to live" than places in cali or florida. cmon man your bias is showing. source - currently living in canada
