I had my FB M1 interview on Thursday, no response so far.
Behavioral rounds were ok. One SD round was good, another one was ok. Coding was quite good.
I would be fine even if I am offered an M0 position, or even an IC position (if behavioral rounds are not considered up to the mark).
Should I try to discuss my flexibility on roles with my recruiter ? Does the recruiter have any say on this, or will the debrief/hiring committees decide ? Or is this useless, and just indicates desperation, and could backfire ?

I would guess that they have targeted you for the manager track and set your interview structure as such, so going back for an ic role would need more interviews.
Expect to wait a long time for feedback and go or no go decision. I had to wait 7 weeks, but then got placed and got a very good offer in a small office. Placement was hard due to small office size and fewer teams needing a manager.
