Hi guys, I posted under a different name before, but here are the numbers. What do you think? FB (MNP): 165K base / 400K stock / 40K sign on bonus / 10% perf bonus Snap (LA): 160K base / 580K stock / 20K relo bonus / 25% of grant annual refresher Uber (SF): 156K base / 330K stock / 25K sign on bonus / 23K target cash bonus FB and Snap = 305K TC Uber = 287K TC YOE 4.5 Which would you pick?
Can people tell me why FB > Snap? The polls seem to indicate this..I'm a little concerned about FB wlb..
What is an Uber 2? ... Leveling starts at 3...
Can you share how long you prepared and what to watch out for? LC medium/hard?
If Uber can match FB offer then take Uber else FB. Uber stock will shoot up once they are profitable (end of 2020 expected).
Why are you concerned about the FB WLB ?
Snap also has a performance bonus. Ask your recruiter about it.
Is Snap WLB better than Facebook's? Thought it was similarly bad at both companies
I suppose only one way to find out.
Facebook went up to 335K TC
Mean you give specific talk track that you used at Facebook ? What component of the offer did Facebook increase ? Did you share the competing offer letter or simply competing offer details ? Thanks , Fellow UFC Fan
I basically aced the interview haha. Also I had other offers. At this point you are at a position of power. You can ask for what you want. Be open with the recruiter. Ask your self what would McGregor do? What would Khabib do? Pick the middle route which is not as extreme 😁😂😂
Can you share on how you prepared system design?
I read up on Grokking. Also my dad was the principal architect at prime Yahoo! a decade ago. He has legit distributed systems knowledge so I just asked him. Currently he is L6 vying for L7 at Google.
I’m kinda tilted that my e5 offer had 400k RSU and 35k sign on...only higher number was base is 200k and e5 bonus is 15% I’d take FB (I recently took FB) I think it has the best growth trajectory of the 3
Yea dude I basically had THE perfect interview at FB. I answered everything 100% above and beyond in both coding and design. They almost considered me E5. Also I had Snap offer. So I used negotiations + high offers to play the game.
Duh. Got $500k stock for my T4 Google offer... in Seattle. And no I wasn’t down leveled (3.5 yoe) Currently making ~$400k with stock appreciation
