I would highly appeeciate if someone can give me advices on the follow-up intetview. I interviewed with FB for a E5 SWE role. Today the recruiter told me that both design and coding went well except for the behavioral round since I didn’t give good teamwork examples. This is because I talked a lot about the low level performance optimizations I did independently and also the interviewer is not an expert in that domain. So they will ask a senior performance engineer/ manager to conduct the next interview
I would think prepping for amazon’s leadership principals behavioral is the same. All companies are looking for the same qualities in essence. So I’d just study up on those and come up with examples for each principal

I believe for FB E5, if you do not demonstrate effective teamwork and collaboration from your past experience, it would affect the interview outcome. As you have already experienced firsthand, they have to revalidate your teamwork experience, without which they would probably not be able to make you an offer.
I felt in that round he didn’t ask questions about teamwork (or probably I was too excited talking about how I solved challenging technical problems)
Yeah it does sound like the interviewer missed that out and hence you are getting a second chance to make it up, which is great.
