Hi Need some inputs for my onsite interview at FB..I have EM interview at FB and little nervous as I haven't interviewed in a long time. I only have 2 weeks to prepare with a full time job, so any inputs will be greatly appreciated. 1. What kind of questions are generally asked for system design interviews at FB and what are recommended books/websites to prepare for these. 2. For coding questions, what kind of coding questions are asked to Engineering managers. I have not been coding for few years now and not as strong anymore. If someone knows the difficulty level, I can probably try on the weekends. Any recommendation for prep material? Thanks in advance TC 375k Yoe 20!
How much north of 300k? Why not specific? TC always matters
Lol, ok I edited it
Ask your recruiter for prep content. They are usually pretty great starting point. For EM make sure to not neglect prepping for management interview and project retrospective.
Yes I agree and have that covered. I have generic guidelines from recruiter as well but want to get practical advice from those who have done it.
L6 or 7 at Amazon?
So FB would ask coding questions for manager roles too??
I interviewed for E4 and was asked to design instagrams backend. Specifically was asked about what happens when a photo is posted, how that is propagated to all followers. Coding questions: 3sum,most frequent element in array, BST to linked list, implement integer division without division operator, remove minimum parenthesis to create a valid string
How long ago was this and what location?
Less than a year ago for NYC
