I will be starting at FB in next few weeks. They say they are giving me phone and they will pay the bill. Do people use this phone for personal and office both or carry 2 separate phone. Also, what about privacy? I am mostly concerned about gmail, WhatsApp message, iPhone messages, calls. Can they read/listen all of them? Also, do I have to return this device when I leave FB? Current TC:170k FB TC: 280k
With so much data breach - careful :-)) specially with pics
Just use it for the data and international service during travel. And for any work related calls. And mostly use your personal otherwise. ThTs what I did st my previous company, so I always carried around two but it was fine
I don’t do anything unethical. Only thing is in case when I am switching jobs, I will be talking to recruiters on LinkedIn and emails. I don’t want FB to know about that.
Also, what about using blind etc?
Are we allowed to use our own iCloud account?
I thought all apps in iPhone are secure and can’t access anything from another app. Do their iPhone has something special which allows access to everything?
Yes, iPhones are secure, but with Corp policies, they get access to a lot of information.
You can do either. 2 phones are possible. Level 4?
When you use a company provided device, there's no expectation of privacy. You should only use it for work related stuff, nothing more.
If you have the newest iPhone, it supports dual sim so maybe you can have both devices separate but carry around just that one device?
How does that help with app and it’s data?
Dual sim allows you to use 2 different mobile networks/plans on one device.
When you leave you need to return it. Better to use your own
