I joined the company in lockdown. I find it harder to make connections in the team. I feel like i am invisible. People dont respond to what I post in the group chats.
Is it because I am doing something wrong or is it general wfh experience for everyone who joined in lockdown.
Please give some suggestions about how can I improve my situation?

Schedule virtual 1:1s to get to know your teammates. Do you have a mentor assigned to you? If not ask your manager to assign you one. Go to optional group meetings.

Yes, there is all that. I have a great working relationship with my mentor, but that's all. Others dont feel obliged to respond to me on group. The code reviews also are done by others when I personally message them. I am new so I might be working on something not that important, but still I need to get it done anyway. I feel like i have to do a lot of chasing to get someone look at my work or just to grab their attention.

I try to be part of optional group meetings, it is all nice there.. but work related, it gets a bit complicated. I tend to approach the same 2-3 people i made connections with. Others dont seem to show any interest.

Discuss in 1:1 with manager, these issues are concerning and can be a big blocker for you going forward

Same here. Even if the team is very helpful I feel some tribe knowledge you gain by being around people is missing.

In similar boat. Manager is good.. people are good but everyone has personal and professional commitments and everyone is juggling during this time.. I understand all this but still feeling left out and alone at work..

I think generally people suck with the full remote setup (not you specifically, but your whole team). My team was very close in the office, but pretty disjoint since WFH. Our new hire seems like he's stranded on an island. It's rough, man
