Blind is an antisemitic cesspool
Happy New Year, everyone! I want to learn Ruby on Rails for a coding interview. Any tips or resource recommendations for how to learn it efficiently but well enough for an interview? I'm a mid-level developer who has only worked with JVM languages.
Dont, learn python, Java or c#
Yeah bud I heard 2022 is gonna be the year ruby makes a come back.
Ruby and RoR is still widely used. Airbnb, Groupon, Zendesk, Twitch, Stripe, Shopify, etc. I don't think Ruby is a dying language.
Don't do it
Why not? Now I'm curious
It's awful to write, and is becoming less and less desired skill as the popularity declines. I recently turned down a company that told me during the interview that they were switching to ruby on rails. I don't want most of the skills I develop to be based on a dead language.
