Apparently, I will have to prepare for the exams after I decided to work at my current company as a full-time analyst. I have CFA Lv 2 exam coming up this June and not sure how tough it would be to prepare CFA Lv 2 and FINRA SIE. Has anyone taken both and figured what are some major differences? Which one is harder?

Don’t care about getting green card anymore!!
CFA is much harder by an order of magnitude. Your bank will train you to pass all of the required exams like 7/64/79/SIE or whatever. Typically they hire an external preparation company like Knopman Marks to come and do a one week intensive training course. You will have to read the book and practice the problems but the pass rate with prep is very high. I wouldn’t sweat it compared to the CFA 2 which needs lots more attention.
