I need to take the exam soon since my manager is pushing.. How did everyone prepare the exam? One of my seniors provided me access to "achievable.me" (website that provides online courses for finance certificates and stuff) to study but seems wayyy too much for short exam. I took CFA Lv 1 and passed. Can anyone give me some comparisons between the two tests?
If you passed cfa lv 1, SIE should be easy. You can google too, but SIE is a broad based exam that tests your knowledge about financial products, regulations, investments, etc. I personally wouldn’t spend excessive $$ or time to study for it. Also as long as you get above 70% of something, you can pass. Feel free to ask other stuff if anyone is more curious.
Haven’t taken the CFA lv1, but the SIE is pretty easy. You just have to be willing to put in the time. Think all banks use Knopman Marks and they have a pretty good plan and effective teaching style so I would recommend them.
