For G onsite, 1. Is prep for behavorial questions needed? Do they have any detailed HR/culture fit/hiring manager rounds, or is it all only coding and 1 sys design round for sde? 2. Also do they drill too much into current/work ex projects? I kind of suck at explaining these things impromptu esp at answering detailed behavioral/culture fit kind of questions (the kind amazon asks SDEs), without careful prep. Have been rejected in past cos of those. What about Facebook? Netflix? Yoe 3-4
For engineering roles, no behavior questions
Generally do recruiters say before hand about system design round? Whether we have it or not?
At G, behaviour is as important than technical aspects during interviews. They may not ask you specific questions, but you are implicitly evaluated on something called “Googleyness”. Are you shouting during interviews, are you being negative about previous companies/managers, are you giving up too easily, etc. You can search internet about this. https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/what-google-looks-for-in-employees-2015-4
For G there's no system design for under 5 YOE, it's all algo. And I don't think they care about behavioral but just be ready to talk about yourself a little bit
