Planning to move back to LA due to return to work. How is the homeless situation? I'm looking at Playa Vista area.

  • I was there a month ago and it’s completely out of control- they have built permanant residences under every overpass and in every park. They attack people without being punished by police. They even throw feces and bags of diarrhea. Out of control.

Lived in big cities around the world but never seen downtown tent cities, trash and open air drug dealing with free needles from govt social programs and no policing services until West coast US. Joined a social program to clear up the masses of drugs and trash couple of times a month and we had to hire security just so that we could remove trash and feces and needles without being assaulted.

Been here fifteen years but will not stay, as it’s just too depressing.

The other part people have to realize is most states give their homeless 1 way tickets to sun destinations, esp Cali. So there’s a reason the population is always growing. Maybe they should build a wall

Those cities that send them to LA also brag about how they have no homeless problem while LA is a shithole.

It’s easy to not have a problem when you make it someone else’s.
