I am interested in knowing what the Junior/Intermediate SWE’s do at Faang. Are they involved in hardcore coding or is they would just do some changes here and there in the codebase or minor feature enhancements?
Would like to know the intensity of the coding. Thanks

I have only done shell scripting and IAAC deployments with Terraform, Jenkins and supported pipelines but never involved in deep level backend stuff and honestly I don’t like doing the intense backend stuff.
Not necessarily the best code - but they spend the most time doing it.
Should I forget about SWE or still pursue it or go for SRE/DevOps positions in Faang ( which will still require leetcoding)
Or should I focus on getting into Cloud Solution Architect stream?
