Facebook Bootcamp after preallocation
i was assigned a team before joining FB. Is there any difference in bootcamp experience vs general hire?

It's shorter.
So from my understanding, my bootcamp will mainly consist of the internal tool and development trainings like all the other new hires. But after the training period, I will start working with the team directly. So is the training period around 3-4 weeks?

You’ll go through the same basics classes with other non-preallocated bootcampers. When non-preallocated start team selection, you are free to start working with your team, although bootcamp program encourage you rather to sit with sister teams and make some xfn connections. Very flexible. You decide.
Major part of the bootcamp process is to find a team, you don't need to partake in it. Besides that everything is the same
