The recruiter gave me this feedback: Strong Hire in Design and Behavioral Weak Hire in the couple of other tech interviews How much weight does FB give to the design and behavioral? The feedback is going to a committee meeting. TC: 210K YOE: 5
definitely setting up to down level, if not reject
Weak hire is still a hire
They asked me for follow up, maybe you will get the same. And which loc op?
Yup. I did a follow up. It was a behavioral.
They will ask for additional interviews to get more signal or pass you but give you a lower offer. Do you have competing offers?
No. But I’m happy if they just match my current pay.
Lol 210 is like E3 pay so you should be good. Likely you are E4. Design and behavioral is the most important.
So do they give you an offer? And is this for a SWE position?
That is so stupid. You literally have a good personality, know how to design systems, but are in the bubble because you got lc questions you never saw before or couldn't solve useless dsa problems in 20 minutes. This field is broken.
Facts. Might switch to PM at this point
FB to their credit has more reasonable coding rounds. Most/all questions are tagged on LC and they don’t ask hard questions.
Any updates ?
How long did it take for you to get the results?
Which level
He said either E4 or E5.
