I have offers from these two places. Facebook hiring committee leveled me at M1. My recruiter claims this is a "high M1" although I'm quite sure that just recruiter-speak to sell me the offer. Neither FB nor DataBricks have yet given me the compensation numbers though.
Does anyone know what kind of TC breakdown can I expect at these two places, and how I should evaluate them? I do think both these companies are doing well, and from a mission/technical/impact view-point they are good fit for my skills & experience. As such, I don't have a strong preference (work-wise) for one over the other.
Basically my decision will be (largely) based on TC offers, but I don't know how to compare an offer from publicly traded company like FB against a late pre-ipo company like DataBricks. Also does anyone know how DataBricks level stack against FB? levels.fyi doesn't have this information, unfortunately.
Can anyone shed some light on what TC I can expect at both places and how I can go about evaluating/comparing them?
Current TC: 500K, 17 yoe (5 as mgr). Currently manage managers. Previous FAANG (G) experience as L6 EM, currently at a small startup.

It's expected to be lower than most given how close it is to ipo. If you can share some expectation on TV it would help us
