Hi, I recently got a call from recruiter for a Facebook position. If everything goes good, I will like to pursue the offer. But before I put myself into interview process, can someone let me know what is the PERM issue going on with Facebook.
I’m considering leaving since my perm case is not approved
No approvals coming in as there's a PERM lawsuit by the DOJ, expecting it to get dragged for a few months. If it doesn't resolve by end of year, a lot of us are considering leaving
will fb relocate temporarily to uk/can if they dont get approved soon
Zucc said resolved by EoY. Otherwise I think a lot of people will be leaving yeah
they rescinded verbal offer even for people with I-140 approval. Saying can only extend offer if 485 is portable. Seen a few data points like myself. Really sucks. Don't waste your time.
What was your PD?
I have my I40 approved with my current employer and H1 visa expires on 09/2023.. I got an offer from FB, is it safe to switch ?
Dont join FB now if you dont have GC. Internally to employees FB leadership, immigration have not been transparent about this. Many immigrant employees already left
I am leaving fb as well. Don’t join if you need perm
Leaving in few months, the company doesn’t really care about us
What I heard is that all PERM filed since last summer were not approved and pending the lawsuit filed by DOL. Did you ask the recruiter about this?
Let me ask about it.
