Facebook RSU share value
How joining date impacts FB RSU share value? Say if I join on 24th June vs 1st July. If I join on 24th June, would they consider trailing 30days avg value from May 24th to June 23rd or May month average value? Is it better to wait until July 1st? TC: 360k YoE: 11

Previous calendar month. July 1st and 26th are the same. Also don’t time the market.
What is wrong in timing the market when significant salary for next 4 years is dependent on this value. For me it's just 1 week difference, 24th June (May avg) vs 1st July (June avg). I won't be losing much by joining a week later but I have a chance to get in at a better price if I plan well. Thanks for the comment.
Or a worse price. Nothing wrong with the motivation, but your chances of getting a better price rely on factors outside of your control. Good luck, and welcome to fb.
What price did you get ? Trailing month of start date or Trailing 30 days ?

@OP my offer letter also says the same thing and it's confusing. Can you please tell me what price did you get?
Can you read the statement in the offer letter?
It says "The Share Value will be determined by reference to a trailing average closing stock price". Not sure if it means trailing 30 days avg or previous month avg. Other blind posts mentioned as previous month avg.
