I had an onsite (non tech) last week and was told today the recruiter was meeting with the team tomorrow to discuss feedback and will update me, does that usually indicate they have gone with another candidate and just getting feedback to give to me? Isn't the hire/no hire just updated in the computer?
No, they are going to decide whether to make you an offer based on your onsite.
Just curious, which non-tech department did you interview for? Creative Shop?
No, it was legal
Just got the call 30 mins ago to expect an offer next week
Congrats!
Woot woot! Congrats!!
Thank you
Did it take a week or so to hear back after on-site?
This is the normal process, the recruiter basically needs to get consensus that you are a hire. It takes time for people to submit their feedback, once that’s in they meet to discuss.
Thanks ptmG01 it is tough to stay positive and when you hear all the non tech hires that get feedback within 24 hours of their interview and mine has been just over a week.
It can be tough to get all the people you talked to together in a room at the same time. Don’t sweat it.
