Considering jumping ship to Facebook. People that work in the Seattle office, how is it? How's the quality of talent? Is it 100% Microsoft people? Are the problems still interesting? Decent promotion trajectory? Work life balance? Super interested!

Fb Seattle is nice. The culture here is not exactly like Menlo park. Lot of people with families.

Yes, it does. As well as a green card, after joining a team.
In infra, it's about 30-50% former Microsoft and Amazon people. I think it's easier to get promoted here than at other big 4 companies. Work life balance depends on the team, but I think most are decent.
FB Seattle office is same pay MPK office, but better work life balance overall. Older demographic too, people w families, etc. Agree the balance depends on the team (it will at any larger company).

Following! (Seattle specifically) What does FB infra do? Sorry to ask such basic question because Infra has different purpose and goals on a different companies. Google has SETI Salesforce has Infra These two are largely building tools. Also, how's the Perf Review? (Recently I saw a video about how hard it is to get good reviews if you don't work on something "impactful")

Why are you leaving snap? Snap seems like a good company
Because it isn't and I fully vested my original grant. The refreshers I have are large but not enough to make me put up with this place.
