You should do production engineer instead... would be same ladder as eng.
Was thinking about the same.. if that requires the same experience and skills.
I don’t know if true, but I heard EE is a different ladder. But I will let FBer comment on that. PE is like SRE at Google. You will be writing code. Just interviewed PE.
