Facebook average experience for E5
I am being offered E5 at Facebook. I'm having 13 years of experience including LinkedIn and Adobe. Is it something normal or I should look for higher level? During my research, I found experience ranges for E5 from 4 year to 15 years but mostly less than 10 years. Also what is the expected salary for FB, London?
E5 can be for someone with your experience level. Not everyone can be E6
FB also rarely offers new hires an E6 position. If you're right for it then you'll get promoted quickly.
Are you thinking about Google? In my opinion, FB offers E6 pretty often. I got an FB E6 offer last month as a new hire from quant finance, while Google gave me L5. If you you search Blind, you'll see quite a few FB E6 offers.
