I keep getting emails from Facebook HR for manager positions. Anyone know how the manager role in fb is different from other companies like amazon, uber, Microsoft salesforce etc Is it a technical role or mostly process and coordination of dev time? Is comp higher than other companies? Do I have to leetcode for interview loops?

I can answer the last one. I just went through the interview loop for an EM position and there will certainly be a whiteboard coding question. Mine was quite easy and they mentioned quite a few times I shouldn’t focus on it, during prep. It seems like many managers get hired even without passing the coding interview. Gotta do well on people mgmt and systems design though. They told me they’re moving fwd with an offer and I’m here trying to find what a good comp would be for a Level 6 Mgr.
Did you have to go through coding in the phone interview rounds?
Do you mind sharing your numbers for the offer ?
