Won’t be able to complete other interviews before Facebook offer deadline, might be able to get robinhood offer before.


Facebook is paying a little less than my current pay and that’s why I’m really hesitating. People who voted fb, please convince me!

    Facebooks only selling point is it pay. Otherwise it’s a shit company. Why would you go there if they aren’t paying significantly more?

      The recruiter gets paid if you sign. The deadline is just a pressure tactic to get you to sign sooner. If you ignore the deadlines the recruiter will still get paid when you sign so they will extend it. The only exception would be some kind of hyper specialized role where the job can be filled, or a hiring freeze, but either of these is very unlikely for a typical engineer. Or if you were a dick about it and pissed the recruiter off.

      Yeah honestly I wouldn’t move for less. If you got through FB interview, you are good enough for other companies. I’d wait. Facebooks reputation isn’t worth it if they aren’t compensating you by a lot more

      Thanks. Yeah I mainly worry I won’t be able to pass other interviews.
      Also when I started interviewing I was like I’m gonna leave as soon as I have any offer …🤣🤣

    I think Meta will keep your offers open for 6 months or 1 year. Just that you can’t negotiate after the current deadline. Keep interviewing and join within that period.

    Why not staying at LI? Why you wanna move for a similar TC? I believe LI >> FB in terms of wlb and culture.
