Is it cheaper to eat chipotle everyday than buy groceries ?
4 is mid level and 5 is the start of senior. I guess 6/7 is staff, maybe
What are tc ranges for these levels
When I interviewed at fb they told me it was for a senior role, but when pressed they mentioned it was for IC4. That’s where the convo ended.
In my initial talk with a recruiter they said IC5, and I've got almost 14 yoe total (8 specifically working in UX). But it sounds like it depends on exactly what that specific experience is.
Typically new grads come in at ic3, industry people come in at ic4. Ic5 is considered senior and also when the managing track opens up (ic5 is equivalent to m0)
IC5 is staff or design lead position or is that IC6 ? Friend is getting evaluated at IC4 with 8yr of industry experience.
Probably more like ic 6+. It's really common for people with years of industry experience to come in at ic4.
