I'm looking to prepare for a system phone screening for Facebook for being a production engineer. Any advice and/or people up for a mock interview? I did Linux engineering for 2 years at a car company and 3 years as a Linux ops for 3 years at the same company. I'm still super nervous about the systems interview. I passed the coding screening. I dream of working on portal and/or VR/AR tech so I hope I can transition easily once I get there and get some years under my belt. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Dm me, I can help to some extent

Congratulations on your fb offer.

Hi Cvs, I would also like to know please
Portal doesn’t have production engineering, AFAIK. Oculus might? There are plenty of web links on how to do well in a system interview. The best advice I can give is be sure to weigh the pros and cons of different approaches when designing the system and try to lead the discussion after asking for requirements.
*system meaning like how to troubleshoot Linux. I'm really good at working with Linux experts to automating processes but I'm bad at remembering commands or bring a ops person. The stuff I remember was figure out what is causing the problem and close the ticket as fast as you can.
