Facebook recruiter rejected application instead of scheduling
I am a student in my graduating semester and a Facebook recruiter reached out to me and started my application, I never even applied. She emailed me for my availability to schedule an interview and then never got back after I sent it to her. Suddenly, I get a rejection email from her that says it was great interviewing you but we are moving ahead with other candidates and the rest of the automated crap along with “try next year”. She fucked my case totally, I cant apply to Facebook anymore. She is my university’s recruiter so I am scared that she will just reject me even if I apply from a different email address. Can I do anything? Reporting her to college, but I don’t care about what happened, I just want her to schedule my pending interview. I even met her when she visited campus, she assured me that she is just busy and would get back. It totally sounds like a mistake from her end but she wouldn’t even read my emails. This same recruiter is also communicating with my friend to schedule her first interview. Both of us are international students and would need H1B in future.
Hc must be over for fresh grads, doesn't mean u can't Interview again

Yes, and she knew that from my first response, she sent an interview availability request anyway.

Ive heard rumors that fb has a lot of returning interns and is slowing down hiring of new grads. They’ve probably already hit their head count.
