I was surprised to hear about this and think it’s quite bad. Am I in the minority? http://time.com/5215274/facebook-messenger-android-call-text-message-data/ “Facebook acknowledged Sunday that for years it has been collecting the call and text history of users who own Android phones. It says it has been doing so with users permission, but it’s not that simple.”
I hope you’re in the minority :)
As an OP, I realize I should’ve phrased this differently lol I’m not surprised so much as I think it’s super crappy
I’ve not used FB app for a long time. I fire up an incognito tab and close down. I use FB messenger app and they million diff ways they try to get me to associate my phone number is just amazing.
It's disgusting
Never been happier to have been on a Windows phone (until recently) 😂
Haha, good one
No, you are not. My spouse and I were spooked by this and deleted our FB. Still use Whatsapp though as we don’t have alternative. My family doesn’t want to get on to signal yet.
Telegram
I wonder why no one talks about this is not happening on iPhones. Does google have a part to be responsible here?
Am I the only one not surprised by this 😂
No, you're not, unfortunately.
