Facebook stock price has gone down by 35% much more compared to some tech companies. Has this impacted employee's motivation? Are people looking outside for different opportunities? What would you suggest to someone who is trying to evaluate offers from Facebook and Google. Does this stock decline matter?
Everyone is excited for refreshers at this price.
Snap employees have been more excited for a year.
Can you identify what the issue is with FB? It didn't do anything unethical. Leaks and technical issues, yes. That happens to all companies. The news media (which competes for the same 💰) blow things out of proportion. But usage numbers are strong and the product is getting better all the time. Essentially, Facebook is in a fight of it's lifetime with the media establishment. All other newer media companies have been through it: NBC, HBO, Google, Netflix, etc. If Facebook comes out on top there is no stopping it. Place your bets folks!
If you think that Facebook didn't do anything unethical, then you'd be the perfect employee there.
That is my question. Why don't you identify one?

How do you feel about the brutal working condition Amazon workers have to go through? Amazon making profit at the expense of poor working conditions. Also, have you ever thought about the many stores and shops that have closed down due to Amazon? It affected the livelihood of large number of people. Shouldn't employees of Amazon ecommerce division die in shame then? Stop being hypocrite!
Please don’t GRAB em by the P****
