Facebook vs Adobe

Got the following offers: Adobe: (L4, SF) 340k Facebook (E5, Menlo Park): 430k I'm thinking Adobe would be less stressful but Facebook would have more opportunity in the long run. Edit: current TC: ~400k with stock appreciation (but I'm leaving Amazon no matter what) yoe: 3.5 with advanced degree Edit: I'm choosing Facebook. Thank you everyone for your responses. This is for an MLE position. I've included some resources that helped with my interview in case it helps anyone else: Coding: Top 50-100 Facebook LC tagged questions plus a lot of interviews for practice System Design: Grokking the System Design Interview + Donne Martin's System Design repo Machine Learning System Design: Grokking the Machine Learning Interview plus just working with ML systems. Also, if you want to understand how ML algorithms work, write up your own implementation. For example, make a simple k-means clustering program then compare it to how it's done in a reference source code like SKLearn. Behavioral: I went through a lot of interviews for practice. I used STAR chart format and Pyramid Principle. People responded better to simple answers rather than complicated answers.

I was in similar position. I had E4 in Facebook and L5 in Adobe. I took Adobe. Overall for WLB.

I’d pick FB without thinking much..

Microsoft rEQatdXfK Jun 30, 2021

There’s some shitty WLB at Adobe too. This is a no brainer even if the compensation was reversed.
