Hello, Facebook's relocation policy through Altair mentions that the core and plus benefits are triggered for destination address. Given the situation in the last two years, has anyone run into a scenario where they haven't moved to the destination work location due to the ongoing WFH policy? How do these benefits work in that case? Also, in the meantime, do they support you moving to a different place (and you holding the responsibility that you'll take care of the moving expenses yourself when you eventually move to the work location)? Also, curious if they offer plus or core benefits to remote employees? TC: 255k #Facebook #meta #relocation #altair

What do vegetarian Indians eat for protein?
I have signed up for Seattle. I plan on relocating a month after my start date, based on my recruiter it should not impact the relocation package but the Altair guys are saying otherwise. Not sure what to make out of this situation lol
Hey how did you resolve this? Thanks for sharing
You reach out to peeps, and they will sort it out. Also, you can defer the onsite office timeline
Any updates on this?
I was told there is a relocation deferral program that you can sign up for and postpone your relocation.
How far back can you push it, until July?
Yes
Found this through a friend’s concern with move. Were you able to push your move with Altair?
They don't offer the relocation benefits to remote employees. It's assumed that if you go remote, then you don't require relocation to one of the office sites.
