Received an offer from a company, but we couldn’t come to an agreement, so I walked. The last email the recruiter sent me had something a long the lines of “Would love to stay in touch incase our ranges change!” Is it possible that this is a recruiter trick and they are going to contact me again shortly?
Message them back saying you had a change of heart. Should work unless you burned that bridge in negotiations
The post mentions that they couldn’t come to agreement so I don’t think that’s what OP is looking for, although yes I’m pretty sure if he wants the offer he can probably still get it
How does one interview without knowing both parties can work the money out? Never heard of that before.
Op, what you mean by “trick” here?
Not sure of your situation but you should be proud you stuck to your guns. As long as your ask was treasonable and you communicated decently (or better).
You negotiated too hard. Looks like they really can't afford you for now.
Once we pass on a candidate, usually no going back.
I passed on them.
Yes and in most cases the company will keep that in a file and no coming back.
