Failed Google, Amazon & Microsoft interviews. Feeling really lost. Don't have any other Interviews coming up. Applied to a lot of companies. Didn't receive any response from others. Even these 3 interviews I got through referrals. Don't know what should I do from here. Any suggestions?
Chin up. Head held high. Keep marching.
Improve whatever you’re weak on
Do not give up. Keep at it. Did you make it onsite to any of those companies or was it mostly phone screenings?
Made onsite for Amazon. For others were rejected in phone interview.
Interviewed for SDE 2 for all of them. YOE is 3. I am now feeling if I should aim for SDE 1. I am ready to keep trying. But do not have any interviews lined up. Not getting any response after applying is what making me upset.
Are these phone or on site? Different issues...
Amazon is onsite. Others are phone interviews.
I have been rejected at 7 on-sites, 5 on phone calls. Finally landed a great offer. So keep at it, take notes and don’t repeat the same mistake, Make a new one .
I failed Google interviews for 6 years 😂
Working at epic isn’t so great? It seems like it could be cool, I do enjoy rocket league
It is great. I want something better. Not fan of their tech stack and vacation, wfh policy. Also Wisconsin winter is too much for me.
Fair enough! Best of luck, I found for me read this book “Elements of programming interviews” was helpful for me in doing well in interviews.
Keep trying. Line up more. I experienced that the older and senior I became, the harder it became.
