Biden to hand out green cards to 4000 illegals per year
Due to lack of exposure to complex distributed architecture project, I am failing at Managerial rounds. They feel I may not be able to handle high complex project and I am not getting complex projects in my current company. How to break this curse? YOE 5
Research more about how they work? And how to implement one?
Same curse here. I am studying about them from past 3 months but I still tank that specific round after performing great in the leetcode based rounds. It's happening even after reading grokking about 10 times and various tech articles, currently reading designing data intensive app book by kleppman. I feel that this will only go way with mock interviews but correctly don't have anyone to do those with. Let me know if you want to partner up in some way.
Yeah I would like to do that. Can you DM me your email?
What really helped me was to view system design videos on YouTube instead on reading about them. The way the videos are structured and how they explain connection among various key distributed components gives you a better idea of how to present them yourself.
Google does not ask System Design for L4, u can target that
They do for some roles.
From an interviewer point of view, the most easy thing to fix is this : ‘Make sure you understood the problem before trying to find a solution’. This sounds obvious, however from my experience, most design interview failures can be traced back to this. (I am either on a panel or on the interview debriefing meeting, about 1/week for many years).
Go to a company that gives you more complex projects?
Trying that, failing into system design round because of current projects.
What have you been doing about getting better?
