Fall Software Engineering Intern at Linkedin conversion rate

Does anyone have any information on what the conversion rate to full time is for Fall SWE interns at Linkedin? What should an intern focus on in order to get a full time offer? Any advice is appreciated!

Hi! Current LI intern here. Assuming you’re interning in Fall 2019 and graduating May 2020, it might actually be a bit hard to convert to fulltime because summer 2019 interns could take their return offers, if given a spot. If you are graduating in 2021, you have a high chance of getting a return offer for internship. Unfortunately, a lot of my friends had teams that were impacted by headcount issues for fulltime, but I think interns aren’t impacted as much.

I’m gonna be interning this Fall 2019 and will graduate in 2020. Hopefully there are still spots left for full time roles afterwards.

They were just told that they could receive an offer after their internship ended, assuming their endpoint review was good.

Also, what expectations do interns need to meet in order to get a full time offer?

LinkedIn just has 3 levels of evaluation for midpoint and endpoint evaluation— does not meet expectations, meets expectations, and exceeds expectations. As long as you get “meets” or above for all then you’re fine for return. Assuming they have headcount
