Share your story. Quick story: a female journalist threaten to write a false #metoo story in order to get me fired. I was smart enough to realize during our conversation that she was alluding to this false accussation; I managed to get a recording in order to protect myself. It's rough out there men. I say this through experience. I don't want to undermine the #metoo movement but I think its doing more harm than good for the real victims.
What did you do...?
Had a fling with her. Then broke it off with her. Found out she was self harming herself. Told her I was calling the paramedics. She took that as me threatening her job because she's a journalist and her job would find out and fire her.
So you threatened her with something that could potentially get her to lose her job and she threatened you right back?
What was she accusing you of?
Sexual assault after I broke off a fling with her.
The movement is triggering huge amounts of positive conversations, outing of abusers and getting a lot of men to honestly reevaluate their impact on women. No one deserves to have false allegations placed against them.
So you turned on your phone's camera secretly while she was threatening, so you have the threat recorded?
A woman on my team went to hr and said she thought I might be hitting on her. When asked she admitted that I'd never said anything inappropriate, had never commented on her looks, and had never so much as touched her! She just "thought" maybe I was... stupid! Then after a ton of BS and stress she told HR she was confused and wanted to remain on my team cuz she had just gotten the wrong impression, however the damage was done.
Wow! Did she stay on your team afterwards? I would follow up with HR and make sure doesn't get back on your team. Don't need anymore confusions like that.
Interesting
And people still ask me why I went #MGTOW. Feels so good
Each to their own
Uber passenger got mad when I told her "no" and threatened to report me "if you don't come in and get me off, I'll just call Uber and tell them you forced yourself on me" till I pointed out the dashcam. I sent that video in three times - by email, by US mail on USB, and in person to the green light center on a DVD - just in case she ever tried filing such a report.
When men lose there mind they get angry loud and sometimes violent. Usually regret it and apologize... when woman get mad.... they want to destroy your life.. hell hath no fury.
Rolls eyes
Its mostly true, though some men act like woman in this matter and vice versa but as a rule of averages this does apply. Its funny our society was built on distinguished roles of males and females designed based on strengths and weaknesses. If you keep removing pillars in the name of “progressive liberalism” eventually society will “progress” into anarchy. Sigh
@FEGc44 how can you be so confident that this movement does more harm than good? Based on your experience? By ignoring all the other stories?
I think the movement is doing more harm based on what I'm seeing in news/social media, my experience and people I know. Also we should never dismiss others stories.
Seing all the comments about ruining the reputation of a person because someone shared a meetoo story without due process is reason enough to believe that it does more harm than good
