I had 2 system design interviews in the recent onsite. Recruiter told me 1st one is regular interview(without a shadow) and 2nd one is reverse shadow interview where the interviewer is ramping up and shadow interviewer is the more experienced person who watches the main interviewer... Will the feedback from the 2nd interview(reverse shadow interview?) Be considered by HC ? I ask this because i did so-so in the main interview and felt i did exceptionally well in this 2nd interview.
Nope, feedback from the shadow interview is not considered.
Damn .. if the feedback the main interview is mixed/ low confidencence, even then it is not considered?
Shadow interviews are used to train interviewers and feedback is not considered. Recruiter should have mentioned about this.

I'd assume that in the case of an interview with a shadow (reverse or not) both the lead and the shadow leave feedback that is considered by the hiring committee. That's how it works at Indeed at least.
