Hey guys, I received a FB Solutions Engineering offer ~10 months ago, which I declined. That was the only role they were hiring for in NYC, but I wanted a traditional engineering role. A month later, the recruiter reached out with an engineering role but I had already joined Uber. In light of the recent terribly executed layoffs at Uber, I’m considering interviewing again. I have a call with the fb recruiter and I was wondering if you guys think it is possible for me to do a half onsite instead of a full one. (I was told that would have been the process had I taken the Solutions Engineering role and tried to transfer) Curious to hear what you guys think and any bargaining tactics you guys think I should deploy during the call. Thanks in advance!! For the “TC or GTFO”-ers: 250k TC, 3.5 yoe
