Hi all.
I am trying to switch from eda. Should I target companies like adobe, msft or start-ups? I've always wrote code in cpp in my whole career and don't have any knowledge of system design , rest API other related stuff, but I am good with DS and algorithm. What do you think is the correct choice here? I know adobe and msft will be stable jobs and start-up are not. I am not even sure if I can switch to some big companies without any system design background.
Blind tax: 25 lpa, 7 yoe.

Will be happy to refer you in case you need one.
Here we focus on practical skills more. Knowledge of C++. If you are able to write code with best practices as per memory consumption as well as Speed. Exception handling where it can be factor. If you understand how compilers, os works internally and so on.
You will learn everything while working, and if it doesn't work out then there are other companies as well.
Keep it simple, don't overthink.
