Got an RFE since Fragomen applied for me as an ASICS engineer instead of Software Development Engineer, which I was hired for. My background is CS. How do I explain the hardware aspects of my job in the RFE since I have no hardware courses in my masters?

1. Does this job actually require a masters degree?
2. Explaining how the courses I took in my masters are related to the job description. This is the hard part since I don’t have any ASICS courses in my masters.
The reason I ask is your first H1b can’t be around feb time right.
In any way , the courses are bit tricky too.
