Hello all,
I’m currently in the team match process and my recruiter has matched me with one team. Lodging team. I interviewed for a SDE2 position ( Level K), but in the JD shared by my recruiter it’s mentioned Lodging Site Reliability Engineer. I wanted to know how’s this Lodging team and how different my role will be as a SDE2 - Lodging SRE when compared to a traditional SDE. No offer yet, recruiter said offer and benefits would be discussed after team match call.
Any insights will help.
Thanks!

If you are a developer, go for SDE. You are setting yourself back career-wise if you choose SRE. SRE salary is also less than SDE.
