Hello, SDE3 at amazon, been looking at FB levels to figure out what translates. looks like E5 is roughly facebooks senior level. however, i was told from some people that E5 is a terminal role, meaning you must hit E5 within x amount of time or get PIPPed. however, at amazon that is L5 or SDE2. I'm looking at the job description and it seems that the E5 more matches an SDE at amazon - can lead a small team, can do the implementation as well as the project management for a project - delegating, story breakdown, running meetings with stakeholders, etc
I am L6/SDE3. Has anyone who worked both amazon and FB comment?

L6 is same as E5. It's just that FB has higher terminal level
